Sultan Mayor hosts free business workshop

Sultan Mayor, Carolyn Eslick, will host a free business workshop on social marketing on Friday, March 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the GROW Washington Store (923 U.S. 2, Sultan).
The workshop will address how to better market your business using the Internet. The guest speaker will be Kathy Cotterill, designer of Haywire Ridge Jewelry. Haywire Ridge Jewelry has been a member of GROW Washington for more than two years. During that time, Cotterill has attended several business classes.
Cotterill was born and raised in the Sultan area. Her goal is to reflect simple life values and tribute to family in her jewelry. She started to love jewelry while managing the bead department at Ben Franklin Craft and Frame Shop in Monroe. After the death of her mother, Cotterill left the store to care for her father and began Haywire Ridge Jewelry.
She began the company in 2011. Since then, it has grown to include gemstone jewelry, soldered pieces, rivet and cold connection pieces and soon will include leather jewelry. The jewelry is found exclusively at all GROW Washington stores.
The workshop has limited space. To reserve a seat or get more information, contact the Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce at 360-793-0983 or email debbie@skyvalleyvic.net.
