One Monroe business is excited to announce its second-annual Seahawks Super Bowl pet food drive and fundraiser.
The event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, at Angels Among Us Dog Grooming salon (125 E. Main St. No. 102) in downtown Monroe. Using all-natural, non-toxic dyes that are safe for skin and fur, Angels Among Us staff will airbrush matching green and blue Seahawks logos on both humans and their four-legged family-members.
Ribbons and shiny bling will be available as well.
Because struggling families often need help acquiring food for beloved family pets, the event is a fundraiser for the Sky Valley Food bank. The logos are free with either a can of dog or cat food or a monetary donation to the food bank.
Last year, the fundraiser collected more than 1,100 pounds of pet food.
Show your Seahawks spirit by getting logos just in time for the big game on Sunday! The logos will stay on a dog's fur for approximately two to four days. On skin they last from five to nine days.
