The world needs more like Bill Moe

I live in a senior mobile home park.-áI'm one of those people where I might look normal going down the road except for my walking stick. This is not a story looking for sympathy for me but I have to tell you I live with a lot of pain, partly controlled by morphine.
About two years ago I heard a lawnmower going in my little back yard.-á It was Bill Moe and his trusty lawnmower.-áI asked him what he was doing and he just laughed and said, "I'm mowing your lawn, what does it look like?GÇ¥ I told him I didn't have any money and he just told me not to worry about it.-á Later, I found out he mows many lawns free for disabled people here in the park. Some people that have a little money pay him. A lot of people like me just pay him with a smile and a Thank You.
Mowing lawns is kinda Bill's thing. I should mention he does a lot more than that. Last year he worked like a slave for a full day weeding my little front yard. I know he built a wheelchair ramp for a neighbor at no charge. He has a heart for helping the disabled. Heck, there is one gal that lives here that is more seriously disabled that the rest of us. One day she mentioned to him that she missed being able to barbeque. The next thing you know is Bill is over at her house barbequing short ribs for her.
A man like Bill needs to be acknowledged.-áHe's not hosting dinners and looking for money. He's not even looking for help. He just helps others.
I'll finish with a little story from yesterday.-áI was talking to Bill about my hopes to someday get a window installed in the back bedroom so I could move my desk back there and be able to look out over my back yard.-áSame conversation, part II.-áI haven't started my lawnmower for the past two years. It's a nice self-propelled one. I know Bill's lawnmower is getting tired so I offered mine to Bill for at least a tiny payment to him. Bill refused the lawnmower. Instead he told me to advertise it on Craigslist to get some cash. He then said to use that money to buy a window. He would install it for free.
I'm sure that house that Jesus is building for Bill up in Heaven is going to be a mansion.-áIf my understanding is right, on Judgment Day those that follow Christ will be judged for their good deeds. Of course the others will be judged for their sins. I know Bill will do fine but still, I'd like him to be acknowledged here on earth.
If it's not asking too much, at least put Bill in your prayers. He deserves it.
