Turk Talk | Turks look toward end of the year, college future

The Sultan School District is officially on spring break until April 12. Students are counting down the days until summer break, and on April 13, we will have 41 more school days until school is out!
Spring sports have been going quite well, so check out our scores for all of our games on www.cascadeathletics.com.
There is track camp going on during spring break at the Sultan High School (SHS) field, hosted by the track team. During the break, the high school track athletes will teach preschool to eighth-grade children the techniques of track and field. Coach Hubbard has held the track camp annually for eight years. It is free, so you and your children are welcome to come. They will meet at the SHS field from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, to Thursday, April 9. Parents are welcome to stay and watch.
There are home track meets on April 16, April 30 and May 8, so the track team needs your help. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Coach Hubbard.
The choir and band contests ended, and the Wind Ensemble received a score of 1-, and Concert Choir and Varsity Choir received scores of 2+. The highest possible score is a 1. Now that the contest is over, the groups will prepare for the Victoria, B.C. trip, and the spring concert.
Zitlalith Romero is our new Turk of the Week! Her dedication to SHS is admirable because she goes above and beyond expectations to attend SHS. It is important to her to graduate from our school. She volunteers at the Coffee Grinder almost every morning and has a contagious, positive attitude. Way to be a great Turk, Zitlalith!
