Turks beat Cedarcrest for the first time since 2009


Turk senior 6'3GÇ¥ Bubba Branham slashes through the Cedarcrest defense toward his game and season high of 28 points, pushing the Turks to their first win over Cedarcrest since 2009 last Tuesday.
After a fiery first half the Turks took a modest lead to the locker room. The second half belonged to the Red Wolves. Both teams used GPS passing and soaring outside shooting but the Turks were down 10 with four minutes to go. Turk Coach Nate Trichler used two timeouts to counsel his boys, sending them on an unanswered 11-point rip to put the match out of reach, at 78 GÇô 75, Sultan.-áTyler Morris added 15 and Giovonni Williams continued his aerial play with 23. The Turk boys stand 2-1 and 4-2 on the season.
