Turks lose six-point lead in second half

Sultan Turk senior and team leader Brock VandenEkart drives for two of his 34 points in the Turks' hard-fought, 72 - 68 loss to Kings Tuesday evening, Jan. 15 at home.
Kings opened with a tough defense, double-teaming VandenEkart and other Turks. Both teams used long cross-court passes and strong outside shooting in the fast-paced match. The Turks led by six at the half, but the game slipped away in the third quarter and was lost in the fourth as the Turks got into foul trouble. Turk-áSteven Branham scored 18 and Robbie Rappuhn added 12. VandenEkart lofted in four three-pointers and Rappuhn added three from the three point line-áin the non-conference match.
