Turk senior Giovonni Williams drives through heavy traffic for two of his game high 29 points in the Turks' final game of the-áseason, losing 72 - 70 in the District 1, 2A "loser outGÇ¥ matchup against season bookend Sedro Woolley. The Turks lost the-áopening game of the season on December 3 to the same crew.
The heart-breaking game rattled back and forth with the Cubs controlling the first half, leading by 14 at the half, and 17 in-áearly third period play. The Turks closed the Third Period with a 16 - 4 sprint. With 5:47 in the game the Turks took the lead, but in the -áfinal minute the Cubs held a 70 - 68 lead before the Turks' William's tied the match with 14 seconds to go. William's-áscored 14 of his total in the final 8 minutes. The game unraveled with 2.8 seconds to go when Williams fouled, giving the Cubs the game at the foul line.
The Turks played their signature fast and wild game which had it's downside, giving the Cubs 27 free throws vs. the Turks' four. Turk senior Robbie Rappuhn finished his last home game with 17, including three from the three-point arc.
