Turk air flyer, Senior Giovonni Williams glides for two of his 20 points in the Turks' controlled win over rival Archbishop Murphy,-á76 - 61, on Monday, Feb. 10, at home.-áWilliams also had 10 rebounds, often scoring on one of his own shots.
The Turks clinched the Number 1 Seed in the 2A District post season play with this win. The Sultan bunch held the game from the tip-off with a tight-ádefense under the hoop and fine breakaway shooting on their end of the court.
Senior Robbie Rappuhn poured in 15 and classmate Bubba Branham added 14. Classmates and fans feted the-áTurk Seniors before the game, honoring Robbie Rappuhn, Bubba Branham, Giovonni Williams, Antonio Rivas, Cooper Beucherie and-ámanager Rachel Kirkpatrick.
The Turks open the post season on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m.
