Turk sophomore #13 Chris Walcott drives around a pick set by teammate #2 Junior Joe Schmidt in intense first quarter action of the Turks' loss to powerhouse Kings, 69 GÇô 55, on Friday. The intensely-fought match had the Turks with an eight-point lead going into the final period, whereupon the Kings team roared back, outscoring the Turks 23 - 1 to take the Cascade Conference win. This was the fourth consecutive loss for the Sultan team. Sultan's aerobatic Giovanni Williams led all scorers with 16. Deion Bonilla and Joe Schmidt each jammed in 10 for the Turks.
The Lady Turks on the road at Kings were burned, 70-33. The Turk boys stand 5-4 and 8-6 on the season.
