Our mother Verle Mary Barrett, 87, peacefully passed away on February 14, 2017 at home in Sultan, Washington. She was born on April 1, 1929 to Paul and Mary Brace. Verle grew up in and graduated from high school in Toledo, Oregon. She married David F. Barrett in 1949 and began a family.
Verle is survived by her daughter Patty (Jim) Johnston; son Michael Barrett; daughter Sarah (Jeff) Sanden; son Noel (Rhonda) Barrett; grandchildren Dan and Casey Johnston; Molly (Josh) Wiseman; Kayla and Jeromy Sanden; Ashley (Brian) Skelton; Brittany Barrett; and great-grandchildren Trenton, Lilliana, Kain and Autumn.
Verle was preceded in death by her husband, David F. Barrett, her twin sister, Verna, and older siblings Virginia and Dan.
