William “Max” Farr, born May 24, 1929 in Stockton, KS, departed this life on December 16, 2016 in Sultan, WA. He was 87. Max was a longtime Sultan resident. He was a member of Startup Seventh-day Adventist Church. Max enjoyed playing his Dobro guitar and was a member of a group called the Gospel Gents. They enjoyed old time gospel and country. Max is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Patsye, son Skip Farr of Phoenix, AZ, daughter Lynda Skau of Ridgefield, WA, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. A celebration of Max’s life will be held at a later date in the spring at Startup Seventh-day Adventist Church.
