Joseph Patrick Richardson Dorn

Joseph (Joe) Patrick Richardson Dorn was born May 2, 1974 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane and passed away August 1, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma at the age of 44.

     He attended Eatonville Schools, graduated in 1993 and attended WSU for two years. He loved sports and participated in many over the years.  His first love was his family especially his brothers Jeb and Jake and took pride in making them tough, good athletes, and competitive sometimes to the extreme.  His second love was football and took pride in the fact that his high school team won 2 State Championships in 1990 and 1992.  Joe had a large part in both wins. He had various jobs over the years from haying for Boettcher Brothers, working on the Deck Dairy Farm, Intel, Icicle Sea Foods, fishing in the Bering Sea, Baranck Bros. in North Dakota and Angelas Pomeranians.

     He is survived by his parents Randy and Kaye Dorn, Grandmother Isabell Kaelin, his biological Mom Mary Heilman, siblings Jeb (Whitney), Jake (Holly), and three nephews Jaxson, Jace, Jayden and another due in October, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Preceded in death by his grandparents John Kaelin, Lloyd and Lorraine Dorn, and cousin, Jason Kitchen.

    Funeral Mass at Holy Disciples Catholic Church in Puyallup Wed.
