Last Wednesday, the Eatonville Cruiser boys wrestling team welcomed in the Highline Pirates and the Evergreen Wolverines for a double dual matchup.
The Cruisers would dominate both teams on the day with Eatonville beating Highline 69-6 and beating Evergreen 75-6.
Picking up first place podium finishes on the day were a long list of Cruisers. Standing on the top step of the podium were Ayden Lilly, Austin Frink, Rodney McGuire, Ty Whitney, Zachary Smith, Cauy Woods, CJ Caeton, Hunter Sonnenburg, Kden Olson, Caden Reeves, Mason Vasquez, Julian Evans, Christian Vaninetti, and Kayden Miller.
Following that great performance on Wednesday, the Cruisers would pack up and head north to Darrington to compete in the King of the Mountain tournament.
The Cruisers showed all the other teams who the real kings of the mountain were by winning the overall tourney.
Taking first place overall for the Cruisers were Austin Frink, Ty Whitney, CJ Caeton, Hunter Sonnenburg and Mason Vasquez. Picking up second place finishes on the day were Ayden Lilly, Colby Uhls, Nick Bond, Tyler Stratton and Christian Vanninetti.
The Cruisers will now travel to Tyee High School on Wednesday to take on Tyee and Steilacoom before heading to River Ridge on Saturday to compete in the River Ridge Rumble tournament.
