Vacation Bible School
Tanwax Country Chapel is hosting a free Proof Pirates Vacation Bible School for children of all ages from Aug. 17 through Aug. 21 at Tanwax Country Chapel, 36417 Mountain Highway E., Eatonville.
To keep everyone healthy, the church is having a “hybrid” VBS. Families will come to a “drive-in” opening session each day at 9:30 a.m. An FM transmitter will be used to share the daily welcome message and songs so children can listen on their car radio. Each child will receive a bag full of craft supplies, sealed snacks and other things to take home. Instructions on how to assemble the craft will be posted on YouTube.
The Bible story will be done via Zoom, so the children can interact and will also be posted on YouTube for those who can’t attend the Zoom gathering.
