Collective bargaining agreements dominated the agenda of the Pierce County Council meeting May 19.
The council ratified four such agreements with the Pierce County Corrections Guild; Pierce County Corrections and Detention Center Non-Uniformed Group; the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO, Local No. 483; and Wastewater Unit, AFL-CIO Local 120.
The council also passed an interlocal agreement with University Place and Lakewood for cooperative planning, design, construction and maintenance of the Chambers Creek Canyon Trail.
