Stephenie Nicole (Hermsen) Jerome February 18, 1975 - July 23, 2021

Stephenie Nicole (Hermsen) Jerome, a former checker at Plaza Market and long-time resident of Eatonville, WA, died on July 23, 2021 at the age of 46 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.
Stephenie is survived by her father, Richard J Hermsen Jr.; her brother, Richard J Hermsen III; her sons, Dominik and Jonathon Jerome; and her grandmother, Valarie Hermsen. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Paulette Hermsen; her husband, Gary Jerome, and her grandfather, Richard J Hermsen Sr.
Stephenie was born in Aberdeen, WA on February 18, 1975, to Richard Jr. and Paulette Hermsen. She graduated from Eatonville High School and was Daffodil Princess in 1993. She earned her Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering from Pierce College in 1995. She married Gary Jerome in 2003. On July 28, 2003 and January 21, 2005 respectively, she welcomed her two sons, who were the most important part of her life.
Stephenie’s passion was bringing smiles and fun conversation to the community through the grocery check-out line. She loved spreading joy to anybody that walked through her line at the Plaza Market in Eatonville or the Ocean Shores IGA. Stephenie was a positive force in her community, always willing to help kids with rides to and from sporting events. She loved to the support her sons, their classmates, and coaches at North Beach High School anyway she could. Stephenie loved playing Bingo, discovering treasures at garage sales, going to auctions, knitting her blankets, and attending to the flowers in her garden. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 PM at the Eatonville Eagles Hall in Eatonville, Wa on September 11, 2021. Food will be Potluck style.
