Sustainable Solutions series focuses on climate change and food

Pierce County is offering a free three-program Sustainable Solutions series about climate change and food. The series will begin Jan. 27 with a review of the basic science and terminology behind global and local climate change. The second program, Feb. 3, will explore connections between the food systems and climate. The series will end Feb. 10 by sharing ways to combat climate change.

All classes will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. through Zoom. Classes are appropriate for all ages and intend to give audiences tools to reduce their eco-footprint and make Pierce County more livable. To register, go to https://www.piercecountywa.gov/1561/Sustainable-Solutions-Series.
