Community input sought for aging and disability services

The Pierce County Human Services Aging and Disability Resources division is surveying residents to gather community input for the two-year update to the 2020-23 Area Plan. ADR must develop and oversee long-term services and supports for older adults and adults with disabilities living in communities.
To develop the Area Plan update, ADR will be collecting input from a variety of groups and individuals within Pierce County. Residents are invited to fill out the confidential survey at https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/6333147/areaplan. People can request a print copy of the survey by calling 253-798-7376. Surveys must be completed by June 30.

This fall, a draft of the 2022-2023 Area Plan Update will be created and available online for the public to review. The community will have another opportunity to provide feedback during a public hearing in September.
