Lady Cruiser soccer battles to 1-1 draw

The Lady Cruiser soccer team hosted the Franklin Pierce Cardinals Saturday at Art Crate Stadium.

The Cardinals struck first at the 30th minute to take a 1-0 lead.

The score would stay that way until the second half when the Cruisers scored when junior Hailey Rath floated a corner kick to junior Michelle Kahler, who booted it in for the equalizer at the 65th minute mark. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Earlier in the week, the Cruisers dropped a match to the Fife Trojans by a score of 6-0.
