Eatonville man dies in auto crash

An Eatonville man died Saturday night after he hit a tree next to the roadway.

Shawn Peverelle, 39, was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to the Washington State Patrol report, the crash occurred a little before 10:30 p.m. Saturday on state Route 7 at Silver Lake Road when  Peverelle's 2000 Chevy Camaro left the road way and hit a tree. According to the report, Peverelle was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, which blocked the highway for more than three hours. Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
