JB (Jesse) Logston 9/4/36 - 3/23/22

JB (Jesse) Logston passed peacefully March 23, 2022. JB was born in Moundville Missouri September 4, 1936. He moved to Eatonville at the young age of 4 where he lived the rest of his life. He graduated from EHS where he made lifelong friends. He married Bonnie Stamper and they had two boys together, Ricky and Lyle. JB served his country in the National Guard for 11yrs. Then went on to work for the Dept of the Interior at Mt Rainier National Park as lead sign maker, where he retired in 1994. JB’s lifelong passion was working with antique aircraft. He owned an airplane hanger in Eatonville where he spent the majority of his time after retirement. He was well known for his skill of restoring antique aircraft, painting and doing complete restoration projects. His favorite aircraft was his beloved Piper Cub. JB and Cathy were married in 2002. They enjoyed doing fly-in’s and taking day trips in the Piper Cub. They also took a few trips to Sturgis where JB lived out his dream to own a motorcycle. Another passion of JB’s was his 57, Where he proudly showed off his restoration with car shows, parades and taking his wife and grandkids to Spiffy’s for ice cream. JB is preceded in death by Bonnie(1st wife) and son Ricky. He is survived by his wife Cathy, son Lyle (Andrea) and his step-kids Brady Coburn, Heather Smith, Angie Coburn and Jennifer Armstrong. His Grandchildren Kendra, Brock, Tristin, Makenzie, Barley, Remi and his brother Dick (Jeannie) We will honor JB with a Memorial Service at the Eatonville Eagles April 23rd @ 1pm. There will be appetizers and beverages provided. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Eatonville First Responders
