Eatonville council signs off on engineering consultant for streetscape project

The Eatonville Town Council passed two resolutions at its April 11 meeting.

The council passed an amended resolution authorizing Eatonville to execute a one-year, $3,000 membership agreement with the Association of Washington Cities GIS Consortium Program, which provides comprehensive graphic information system and data services for communities throughout Washington state.

The amendment got rid of a section regarding a special arrangement to allow for carryover of 96 hours left on the books the town had paid for per an expired agreement with AWC as long as those hours were used within six months, and inserted a section for Tier 1 service throughout the duration of the agreement.

The council also approved a resolution for an agreement with engineering consultant KPG Psomas for phase 2 of the State Route 161/Washington Avenue North Corridor Streetscape Project. Construction management services from KPG are not to exceed $404,417.91. The project is to be paid for from a $2.15 million federal grant Eatonville has been awarded.
