Eatonville's Bandits 14U fastpitch team poses with their trophies following their 8-4 victory to clinch the conference championship of the Thurston County Fastpitch Association.

The 14U Bandits fastpitch team, comprised of girls between 13 and 14 from Eatonville, recently turned their hard work into a championship. Playing in the Thurston County Fastpitch Association, the Bandits secured a second-place finish in conference play before going on to dominate the conference championship tournament held June 8-9.

Their championship run culminated in an 8-4 victory over the Electric Tigers, solidifying their place as champions.

Head Coach Morgan Northern couldn't have been more proud of her team's performance.

“They all did amazing!” she exclaimed.

Coach Northern highlighted the team's incredible depth, noting that “every player recorded a hit during the tournament.”

She also praised the team's pitching prowess, with all five pitchers — Josie Lavergne, Olivia Benham, Teagan Johnson, Atalyee Smith, and Nikolette Reygers — seeing action throughout the tournament. Notably, Olivia Benham delivered a stellar performance on the mound during the championship game. The Bandits' defense was equally impressive, committing only two errors across the entire tournament.
