Arthur passed on January 31, 2015 in St. josephs Hospital, cause, failure of multiple organs. "PatGÇ¥ as he was known to friends was born on July 18, 1935 in Donnybrook, ND. The family moved to Eatonville shortly after. Pat was the second child born to Art and Leona Hamilton. Pat was preceeded in death by both parents and an older sister, Shirley Johnson. He leaves behind two brothers Larry and wife Beverly of Goodyear, Arizona and Dean and wife Carolyn Holden of Tacoma. Lots of nephews and nieces, cousins and many, many friends. He always loved Eatonville and was a writer and contributor to The Dispatch newspaper there, writing a regualr column for many years. He was very active with the Eagles Lodge and was very proud of the award he received from them just days prior to his death. The Eagles, the Historical Society and the garden for the kids at his apartment, trying to get a novel into publication, were what kept him busy in his latter years. He said there are a multitude of people he wants to thank. First of all the wonderful staff at St. Josephs and Good Sam Hospitals. Also, the wonderful crew from the Life Care Center in Puyallup, and those great and helpful neighbors and management at the Westwood Apartments. With all the wonderful care, he thought he would make it back to the place he loved, Eatonville. Rest in Peace, Beloved Brother Pat. A memorial Service will be held at the Eagles Lodge in Eatonville from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 14th. Donations may be made to the Eagles Youth Activities Program.
