The rise of Bethel High School's football team from the depths to the heights of the South Puget Sound League 4A is still in the early stages, but so far so good. Bethel beat Puyallup 25-13 Friday in the SPSL South division opener for both teams and remained undefeated three weeks into the 2014 season. That 3-0 record has the Braves on the way to a potentially dramatic turnaround from the 2-7 mark they compiled a year ago. They'll try to double the 2013 season's win total when against Rogers this Saturday in Puyallup. (Read more in the Sept. 24 print edition of The Dispatch)
