William (Bill) Stover passed away on August 30, 2014 at his home in Eatonville, where he lived for many years. Bill was born at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma on December 9, 1932. He graduated from Puyallup High School, and attended the College of Puget Sound where he studied geology. He later met the love of his life, Linda, who he was married to for 60 years. Bill worked at the Washington State Fair for over 60 years. He built their farm in Eatonville over 35 years ago where they raised Arabian horses. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He adored his grandchildren. Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda, his children Shari Dionas, Eatonville, Wash., Robert, McKenna, Wash. and Scott, Eatonville; his three grandchildren, Sara Gamache, Sanford, N.C., Cole Stover, Eatonville, and Beau Stover, Eatonville; and his great-grandchildren, Kaydence and Canaan Gamache. All friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial service on October 11, 2 p.m. at the Washington State Fair Showplex. Enter and park at the blue gate. In lieu of flowers, donations to cerebral palsy would be appreciated.
