King's beat Eatonville 51-37 last Saturday in a 1A tri-district basketball game that sent the winner into the high school boys basketball regionals and ended the loser's season. Eatonville reached the loser-out contest at Mountlake Terrace by downing University Prep 46-31 Feb. 14. In the girls' side of the tri-district playoffs, the result was similar for Eatonville, as Blaine ousted the Cruisers with a 66-33 victory. Blaine will advance to the regionals, while Eatonville's 2012-13 campaign is over. Eatonville entered the playoffs after finishing second in the Nisqually League during the regular season. Meanwhile, in the 4A West Central District playoffs, Bethel's boys lost to Curtis 66-50 in the semifinals last Saturday but are still in the running for the regionals. Bethel blasted South Kitsap 79-53 in the quarterfinals last Friday.
