Douglas E. Fox

Douglas E. Fox was born in Bellingham, Washington to Everett and Paula Fox on June 12, 1939 and died peacefully at home on August 30, 2016. Doug graduated high school in Bakersfield, California. He resided the majority of his life in Puyallup. Doug retired from Rohr industries in 1989-- then again in 2004 from Brewer Chrysler Plymouth in Auburn. Doug enjoyed spending time with family and spent numerous years as a crew chief for his son Barry and Vintage Modified drivers, Mike Clother and Kevin Rinkle. Preceded in death by wife, Karen, and his best friend, Kitters. Survived by sons, Barry (Jen) of Puyallup; Eric (Connie) of Clifton, VA; and daughters Mary (Jim) of Puyallup; Sarah (Greg) of Tacoma and 8 grandchildren. Doug enjoyed spending the past 15 years with significant other, Judy, and her 5 children and 9 grandchildren. A special thanks to Dr. Charles Bulley and the Multicare Hospice team. In lieu of flowers, take your family to a local race track to enjoy the evening in honor of Doug, or donations to Alzheimers Association local state chapter (100 West Harrison St North Tower #N 200 Seattle Wa 98109).
