Lauren Pate and Cassidy Forler of Eatonville competed in the 1A Tri-District high school girls tennis tournament May 21, coming within one match of earning a berth in the state championships. Pate and Forler entered the Tri-District competition at Amy Yee Tennis Center in Seattle as the Nisqually League's second seed after finishing as runnersup in the league tournament. They were also named to the All-Nisqually team at the conclusion of the 2014 season.
