Graham-Kapowsin came back from Idaho with a victory, while Eatonville was dealt a loss by an old rival in season-opening high school football games last week.
Sparked in part by a 95-yard kick return for a touchdown by Kahlil Dawson, Graham-Kapowsin's Eagles beat Post Falls 27-17 Thursday.
Orting built a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and went on to top Eatonville 21-9 in a non-league contest Friday on the Cardinals' turf.
The Cruisers' lone touchdown came on a 1-yard run by Zach Fairhart.
