Eatonville district will listen to voters while planning for future

By Krestin Bahr As the superintendent of Eatonville schools, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to bring to the community a discussion about the future needs of our students. We continue to work hard for our students and their families to provide excellent facilities and programs. We will persist in our work for our students to remain competitive, positive and healthy. Especially, thank you for engaging in discussions regarding our facilities through Proposition 1 this spring. We will need to listen to the concerns of our voters to review our future plans. It is my hope that through this, we can work to improve our schools. This is a wonderful community for families, and we will continue to reach for opportunities through grants and other funding resources, and to preserve the beautiful buildings and grounds. It is a truly marvelous district and we have so much to be proud of. Please continue to engage in the schools as we celebrate innovation as our staff proceeds to promote classrooms where students can create, wonder and grow. Our staff works hard every day with kids and they are second to none. Let us celebrate their accomplishments, support them and the students they serve. They make Eatonville strong. It is through them that we have strong schools, which then makes our srong community. Lastly, I thank you for supporting us as we grow and learn as an organization to provide the best schools for our kids. I am humbled and remain positive by all that I see in our community and our schools. Thank you all.
