Lyyski pushes Bethel past G-K

Amanda Lyyski accounted for more than half of Bethel's runs in a 10-0 whitewashing of Graham-Kapowsin in South Puget Sound League 4A high school fastpitch action. Lyyski drove in four runs with three hits. She also scored twice in the battle of SPSL South division and Bethel School District rivals. Rylee Thomas was the winning pitcher, as she was in two other recent outings for the Braves. She struck out 16 opponents in a 7-1 decision over Curtis, and she helped her own cause with a 1-for-2 day of batting in G-K's 3-1 trimming of Rogers. Nicola Fish had a pair of hits in both games, and Brittany Genuardi was 3-for-4 and scored two runs against Curtis.
