A $1,000 reward is being offered by Tacoma-Pierce County Crimestoppers for information leading to an arrest and charges of the person or people who burglarized an Eatonville business. Information can be reported at 1-800-222-TIPS. According to Crimestoppers and the Eatonville Police Department, the burglary occurred between 7:30 p.m. July 30 and 9:30 a.m. July 31. A door at High Design Styling Salon on Mashell Avenue North was pried open, security camera wires were cut, and cash and a laptop computer were stolen. A cash box that was among the stolen items was found several days later in a nearby dumpster, police said. Crimestoppers is a non-profit organization whose board members raise money for rewards. It works with police agencies, the news media and the general public to help solve crimes and find fugitives.
