Authorities are offering a reward as high as $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and charges in a robbery of a credit union in Spanaway. According to the Pierce County Sheriff Department, a man entered the Harborstone Credit Union office in the 100 block of 167th Street South at 9:40 a.m. Aug. 3, put on sunglasses and then showed the teller a note demanding cash and threatening violence. After receiving money, he put it in an envelope and fled the scene on foot. He was described as white, in his late 50s or early 60s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, slender, and having a gray mustache. He wore a black leather jacket, a light-colored dress shirt and a gray cap.
