Cruisers in tussle for football district playoffs

Orting nipped Eatonvlle 28-27 last Friday in a 2A South Puget Sound League high school football game.
Only the second loss in eight games this season for the Cruisers dropped them into a three-way tie with Orting and River Ridge for second place in the SPSL’s Sound Division. The teams will be involved in a three-way tie-breaker Oct. 24 in Steilacoom to determine league seeds in the district playoffs that begin Nov. 3.
