Eatonville 42, Highline 6

Lopsided victories in the first two games have Eatonville off to a hot start in the 2017 high school football season under first-year coach Gavin Kralik.

First came a 55-7 rout of Elma in a non-league season opener. Then last Friday in Burien, the Cruisers rolled to a 35-0 halftime lead and went from there to a 42-6 win over Highline in a 2A South Puget Sound League contest. Tristan Schoepf passed for 223 yards and three touchdowns. Ryan Bailey caught eight passes for 125 yards and a touchdown, and Tucker Poll scored three TDs.

Next: Sept. 15 at Clover Park. Both teams are 1-0 in the SPSL.
