WSP looking for hit and run suspects

Washington State Police (WSP) are searching for two subjects from a hit and run on Dec. 29 in Lakewood.

"They fled the scene while he was left with a broken leg, waiting for help," a WSP news release stated.

According to police, at about 12:49 a.m. on Dec. 29 in Lakewood a man was crossing State Route 7 near 138th Street South when he was struck by a car. WSP believe Kevin M. Koch was driving the car and his girlfriend, Nicole C. Martin was in the front passenger seat. The two fled the scene and left the victim to call 911.

Since the crash, WSP has been able to track down Koch's vehicle but Koch and Martin are still missing. The two suspects have been seen in the Puyallup area and are possibly driving a red and gray Chevrolet S10 pickup truck.

Anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts or information about the crash should call WSP at (253)538-3172 or email shannon.beeler@wsp.wa.gov.
