Swimmers moving on to districts

The Eatonville Cruisers swim team competed in the 2019 SPSL League Championships this past Saturday at Hazen High School.

The Cruisers would have a great showing with a 5th place overall finish.

Having standout performances for the Cruisers were:

-Kayla Trujillo in the 50 yard and 100 yard freestyle

-Autumn Boyce 100 Breaststroke

-Sadie Schier 50 freestyle and 100 Breaststroke

-Alyssa Woodbury 200 IM and 500 freestyle

-McKenna Wagner 500 Freestyle

-Celeste Chua 200 IM and 100 Freestyle

-200 Freestyle Relay A - Jolee Thirtyacre, Celeste Chua, Sadie Schier and Kayla Trujillo

Kayla Trujillo has qualified for the district meet in the 100 freestyle by recording a district qualifying time.

The 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle teams have also qualified for the district meet.

There is also a strong potential that the Cruisers will earn some wildcards spots for a few of their swimmers but will not find out until this week.

The district meet will be held on Nov. 8 at Hazen High School.
