Some people might call the Seahawks the underdog in the Super Bowl, but Monroe dogs are demonstrating that canine team spirit is strong.
At Angels Among Us Dog Grooming in Monroe, dogs can be a 12th man's best friend with a dog's-and-person's matching team logo set.
Using all natural non-toxic dyes, Angels Among Us can paint a team logo on a human's arm, and another one on a dog's coat.
Best of all, the logos will show community spirit, as well, because proceeds from a one-night pet-and-person painting event will go to support Sky Valley pets in need.
Saturday, Feb. 1, between 6-8 p.m. bring a can of dog or cat food to Angels Among Us Grooming to get your green and blue on, and they'll deliver the food to the Sky Valley Food Bank.
When families fall on hard times, it can be just as hard to feed the pets of the household as it is the humans, so your donation of food can ensure that all the members of a struggling family have good nutrition.
