Bill Davisson of Monroe Washington passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, December 19. He was 77 years old. Born in Seattle on June 18, 1940, he lived in Granite Falls with his parents , Red and Margaret, until graduating high school in 1958. He served in the army, then attended Skagit Valley Jr College on a bowling scholarship. He matriculated to Western Washington University where he met his lovely bride Carolyn Gjovaag. His dreams of a career on the pro bowling circuit never came to fruition, he did however have a long and happy marriage of 54 years. He is survived by his wife Carolyn and daughters Karen Bronson (Paul) and Julie Thompson (Curt); his son Scott and his wife Annique; grandchildren, Wyatt Jarvis, Amelia and Charlie Thompson.
He was a devoted family man and community member. He will be missed.
A memorial is planned for Memorial Day, Memorial Day weekend.
