Ellis B."BreckGÇ¥Bailey, born May 7, 1922 in Tulsa, OK, departed this life on June 19, 2016 in Monroe, WA. He was 94. Breck attended the University of Oklahoma for two years and was later trained in Cartography by MIT instructors at the Franklin Technical Institute in Boston in preparation for service with the US Army.-á During WWII he was stationed in Guam with the 949th Engineer Aviation Topographic Company.-á After returning from the war he met and married Benalou Bradshaw. Breck went on to work in the oil field service industry and spent many years in Canada, Texas, and Oklahoma, retiring in 1986.-á He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge in Grove, OK.-á Later in life he enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, and spending time with his family and friends. Breck was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.-á He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Benalou; his children Cheryl Drummond (Doug) of Edmonton, AB, Gary Bailey of Edmonton, AB, and Nancy Carothers (Martin) of Monroe, WA; his sister Doris Dresden of Tulsa, OK; also five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 1pm at the IOOF Cemetery, 21714 Old Owen Rd., Monroe, WA.-á Memorial donations in Breck's name may be made to Regency Care Center of Monroe.-á Breck spent his final days there and his family is very appreciative of the excellent care he received.
