The Sky Valley Food Bank recently honored its dedicated band of volunteers.
After a barbecue lunch, Executive Director Neil Watkins presented pins to the volunteers as a thank you from the Board of Directors for their service.
Sky Valley Food Bank has 65-70 regular volunteers who work a combined 1,200 hours per month to keep the operation running well. The volunteers average eight years of service, with 15 of them serving 10 years, another six volunteers who have been with the food bank for 20 years.
