Gail Marie Herman March 27, 1939 - September 2, 2018

Gail Marie Herman  passed away peacefully  at Regency Care Center in Monroe, Washington, on September 2, 2018.

Gail was born March 27, 1939 at Virginia Mason Hospital, Seattle.  She is preceded in death by her parents Albert Edward Herman and May Miller Herman, her husband, Marvin Rodvold, son Gale Rodvold, and sister Nora Herman Coy Bellamy.

Gail was a loving mother to daughter Mona Smith and son Sovereign Valentine (Jessica), step daughters Jet Isom (Wally), and Thelma Pfaff (Fritz); ex-son-in-law Bart Smith and grandsons Dakota Smith and Sage Smith.  She is survived by her sister Ruth Coy Bellamy and brother, Carl D. Herman (Renetta), and numerous nephews and nieces.

Gail was a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe and enjoyed working with the Awana students.  She crocheted for missions, enjoyed ceramics, gardening and food processing, and loved visiting with friends.

A memorial in Gail’s honor will be held at First Baptist Church of Monroe, WA, 17922 – 149th Ave. S.E., Monroe, WA. (vicinity of Valley General Hospital) on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Gail will be missed by family and friends.
