Marjorie Maryann Lindsay, "Margie Carr"

Margie died peacefully on September 22, 2014 at her home in Snohomish, WA. She was born in Onalaska, WA on September 7, 1936 to Edwin and Alice Carr. She was the eldest of five children who included Edwin, Rose, Darlene, and Jim. She grew up in the Seattle area and graduated from Ballard High School in 1955. She enjoyed living near the water in the Poulsbo area for many years and moved to the Monroe area in 1997 to be near her family. She was an active volunteer at Sky Valley Food Bank, Monroe School District and St. Mary of the Valley Church. Margie will be remembered as a kind, selfless and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and kind nature. Margie is survived by her children, Jeff Kropp (Dana), Mike Kropp, John Kropp (Kim), Marianne Corrie (David), 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral mass celebrating her life will be held on October 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Valley Catholic Church, 601 W. Columbia St., Monroe, WA98272 In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted at Sky Valley Food Bank and St. Mary of the Valley Church.
