Mildred J. Church, age 95, passed away on August 18, 2014 in Spokane, WA.
After moving from the Monroe area where she lived for many years, Mildred lived with her daughter in Davenport, WA.
Mildred was born on July 7, 1919 in Trenton, Missouri to Ernest and Helen Layman. After finishing school she married Dale Church. Dale was a Baptist minister in the Monroe/Bothell area for many years. Mildred was busy being a pastor's wife, mother and a member of the WMU (Women's Missionary Union). She taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school and was involved in various women's activates and conferences.
Mildred is survived by her three children, Donna (Leroy) Hasenyager, Ron (Gayle) Church and Don (Rhonda) Church; along with six grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Dale Church and a brother, Don Layman.
A committal service was held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at the IOOF Cemetery in Monroe.
