Opal Louise Bevins, born December 6, 1931 to Dewey and Edith Benson in Kimball, NE, departed this life on January 8, 2017 in Monroe, WA. She was 85. Opal was a member of the East County Senior Center and she enjoyed playing Bunco with the ladies there. Opal is survived by her sons Ronald Bevins (Betty) of Monroe and Dan Bevins (Judi) of Meridian, ID; sisters Peggy Weber (Wayne) of Auburn, Mary Etter (Wayne) of Colorado, and Sue McCrey (Dan) of Oklahoma; grandchildren Justin Bevins (Ellen) and Danielle Bachmann; and great-grandchildren Sada, Sabastian, and Hanna Bachmann. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bevins, on June 11, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Pauline Reher and Arlene Benson. Opal was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
