All-around Turk athlete Antonio Rivas just ticks the crossbar at 5'10" after securing second place in the high jump at the Sultan-hosted track and field meet with Granite Falls and Coupeville on Thursday. "I haven't jumped in three years, so 5'8" was the best I could do today," said Rivas. Granite Falls powered through the meet win with 80 points, Coupeville racked up 49 and the host Turks made do with 46.
