Sky Valley businesses racking up votes in Best of Western Washington

By Polly Keary, Editor
The Sky Valley is a fair distance outside of the Seattle-Tacoma metropolis, but some of its businesses are standing out among their more urban counterparts anyway in the annual King 5 Evening Magazine Best of Western Washington contest.
The contest opened for nominations and voting Sept. 9 and will continue through Oct. 18. The first week there were more than 20,000 nominations and 75,000 votes cast.
Currently within the top five in their respective categories are 17 Sky Valley businesses.
