Sultan High School presents the musical Oklahoma! on Feb. 20, 21, and 22 at 7 p.m. A matinee performance will be held on Saturday, February 22 at 2 p.m. The doors open an hour prior to each performance.
Rogers and Hammerstein's musical is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI) who also supplies all authorized performance materials.
"It will be a wonderful showcase for our talented students at Sultan High School and performances that will make you long for the romance of the West.GÇ¥ said the show's director, Sultan High School music teacher Jill Sumpter.
Approximately 80 students are participating in the musical. Parents and volunteers have been working for weeks on the scenery and costumes.
All performances take place in the Sultan High School Commons, 13715 310th Ave. S.E. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased in the SHS office and at the door prior to each performance.
