Dear Editor
I'm writing to give a HUGE thank you to Adam Hoffman, owner and chef of Adam's NW Bistro and Brewery, for his amazing partnership in our recent event - An Evening at Adam's. Adam opened his doors on Monday, a night they're typically closed, to a full-house of guests who turned out to raise support for Housing Hope's newest project, Monroe Family Village. Guests were wowed with a gourmet, 4-course dinner with wine pairings. The excellence of the food was rivaled only by top-notch service. Adam and his entire staff were so friendly and professional. Additionally, they graciously donated all their time and also sought in-kind donations of wine, food and flowers (thank you Flowers by Karen for those gorgeous centerpieces and vases!) so that as much support as possible could go toward constructing our 47-unit Monroe Family Village on Main Street. It is obvious how much the team at Adams NW Bistro cares about our community!
For the Steering Committee, we are thrilled to report that the $10,000 fundraising goal for this event was exceeded! Because of this, local families, many of them single mothers with low incomes and/or who are experiencing homelessness, will have access to Housing Hope's housing that is affordable and services geared toward helping them reach their highest potential. Again, thank you to Adam's NW Bistro and this community for helping make Monroe Family Village a reality!
Sincerely,
Chris Gray
